Creative Project Manager & Designer
Information Design & Product Communication
Project Overview
As Monitor Audio's lineup of high-end audio products continued to grow, I was responsible for designing a range of sales and marketing materials that helped communicate complex product information in a clear, organized, and visually engaging way. This included product review books, price lists, information sheets, product comparison posters, training materials, and other sales resources, all created to support dealers, sales reps, custom integrators, and industry partners throughout the buying process.

While each piece served a different purpose, they all shared the same objective: transforming detailed technical information into easy-to-use resources that supported product education, simplified product selection, and maintained a consistent brand experience across both print and digital formats.

Tools: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications as needed.

The Goal
The goal of this project was to develop a collection of sales and product resources that made complex technical information easier to access and understand for dealers, sales reps, custom integrators, and industry partners. By presenting product specifications, pricing, comparisons, and third-party reviews in a clear and consistent format, these resources were designed to simplify product selection, support system planning, and give sales teams the tools they needed to communicate product information with confidence.

The Challenge
The biggest challenge was presenting large amounts of technical product information in a way that was clear, organized, and easy to navigate. Dealers, sales teams, and custom integrators relied on these resources to compare products, review specifications, reference pricing, and plan projects, so the information needed to be accurate, accessible, and easy to reference.
Each resource also served a different purpose and often had to be designed within specific size, page count, or production requirements. At the same time, many of these documents were updated throughout the year as pricing changed, new products were introduced, and content was refined to reflect current sales and marketing needs. Creating layouts that were both visually engaging and easy to maintain required careful planning, attention to detail, and a strong focus on usability.
The Solution
I designed each resource from the ground up, using Monitor Audio's existing brand guidelines as a foundation while developing layouts that balanced visual consistency with practical usability. I carefully structured each document to highlight the most important product details, organize information logically, and create a clear flow that allowed users to quickly find what they needed.
Beyond the initial design, I considered how these resources would be used by dealers, sales reps, and integrators in their day-to-day work. Documents such as price lists and information sheets were created for both digital and print use, giving users the flexibility to access information in whichever format worked best for them. Digital versions included clickable links to product webpages, as well as internal navigation links that allowed users to quickly jump between sections of the document instead of manually searching through multiple pages.
Throughout the process, I collaborated with company leadership to review content, gather feedback, and ensure each resource supported business needs. After the initial designs were completed, I continued managing and refining these materials over time, ensuring each resource remained accurate, organized, and aligned with the needs of the sales team.
Final Result
Improved Sales Support & User Experience:
Through feedback from dealers and sales representatives, I was able to better understand how these resources were being used and what information users needed most. The final documents provided sales teams and partners with more effective tools for researching products, comparing options, and supporting customer conversations.
More Efficient Access to Product Information:
By creating resources that worked across both digital and print formats, users had greater flexibility in how they accessed and shared information. Interactive features, including product webpage links and internal document navigation, made it easier for dealers, sales representatives, and integrators to quickly find the information they needed.
Consistent Brand Presentation Across Sales Materials: Each resource was designed to align with Monitor Audio's branding while presenting detailed technical information in a clear and organized format. These materials helped create a more consistent and professional experience across the company's sales and marketing resources.
Long-Term Value Through Flexible, Maintainable Resources: The completed materials replaced older, less effective resources and became valuable tools used by dealers and sales teams for years. Designed with future updates in mind, these documents could be refined over time while maintaining consistency and continuing to support evolving business needs.
